†Bible Study† Book of Genesis, Chapter 4

I'm terrible at introductions, so let's pick up where we left off in our last Bible Study :D

Adam acknowledged Eve as his wife, and together they were blessed with a child from the Lord, whom they named Cain. Eve also gave birth to another boy, whom they named Abel.
Abel was a shepherd and Cain was a farmer.
As time passed, Cain brought a offering of his harvested hard work, and Abel brought a newborn sheep from his flock as an offering.
The Lord accepted Abel's offering, but not Cain's. This made Cain angry and full of hate.
God asked Cain. "Why are you angry? Why has your countenance fallen?"
"If you do what is right, won't you be accepted? And if you don't do well, son is waiting for you right at your door. It desires to have you, but you must rule over it."

After that, Cain talked with Abel, and they happened  to be in the field, so Cain killed his brother.
The Lord asked Cain, "Where is Abel, your brother?" and Cain told him that he doesn't know.
"Am I my brother's keeper?"
Then God said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground. Now you are cursed from the ground which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand."
"When you till the ground, it shall not yield her strength. You shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth."
Cain told the Lord, "My punishment is greater that I can bear. You have driven me out this day from the face of the earth, and from your face I shall be hidden. I will be a fugitive and a wanderer, and it shall come to pass that everyone who finds me shall kill me."
The Lord told him, "Whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him 7 times over."
And the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him.

Cain left the Lord's presence and took up living in Nod, East of Eden. He took a wife and had a child.

Even though Cain murdered his brother and commit a terrible sin out of envy, God still blessed him with a child.

The child was named Enoch, and Cain built a city, and named it Enoch, after his son. After that, Enoch had a son named Irad, and Irad had Mehujael, and Mehujael had Methusael, who had Lamech.
Lamech married two wives, Adah and Zillah.
Adah gave birth to Jabal (the father of those who live in tents and take care of livestock).
And his brother's name was Jubal (the father of those who handle the harp and organ).
Zillah gave birth to Tubalcain (an instructor of foraging brass and iron), and his sister was called Naamah.

Lamech told his wives, "Hear my voice, my wives, and listen to my speech. For I haved killed a man for wounding me, and a boy for striking me."
If Cain shall be avenged 7 times, then Lamech 70 x 7.

Adam had another son with his wife, and they named him Seth. And she said, "God blessed me with another child instead of Abel, whom Cain slew."
And Seth was blessed with a son whom he called Enos.

Then men began to call upon the name of the Lord.
